Events organized by ELIXIR/ELIXIR CZ are supplied by TeSS (Training eSupport System), ELIXIR’s training and events portal. This portal offers the latest training events, news and catalogue of training materials from ELIXIR Nodes and third-party providers. It also allows the user to create training workflows to visualize learning steps and to link to training resources specific to training needs. The portal also offers a list of providers and training resources they offer, with links to their materials and courses.
Training Coordination Group (TrCG):
- runs TeSS portal (https://tess.elixir-uk.org/): an aggregator (not repository) of training materials.
- runs E-learning portal (https://elixir.mf.uni-lj.si/).
- collaborates with Software Carpentry (https://software-carpentry.org/) and Data Carpentry (http://www.datacarpentry.org/).
- runs Virtual Cafe Room (https://cafe.elixir.ut.ee/) as a platform for questions and discussions.
- collaborates with Goblet (http://www.mygoblet.org/), BioExcel (http://bioexcel.eu/), RITrain (http://ritrain.eu/), Corbel and others.
- formed by following subtasks: Quality/impact, eLearning, TeSS, Train the Trainer, Train the Researcher and Train the Developer.
- provides guidelines and quality/impact analysis of training events.
