The first bioinformatics academia-industry meetup is held by Charles University (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and Faculty of Science) and will take place in the refectory of the School of Computer Science building at Malá Strana. The meeting aims to bring together professionals from both academia and industry, hopefully creating space for exchanging ideas and opportunities for collaboration in the bioinformatics and biomedical field.

The meeting will be split into two blocks. The first block will be dedicated to the presentation of experts from academia. In the second block, representatives of companies will introduce bioinformatics research carried out in their companies. The meeting will close with a networking session with the opportunity to exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences.
